9:30 A.M. Tour of the Crimson
Join us on a tour of our historical building of The Harvard Crimson, established in 1873.
10:00 A.M. “What is Harvard?” Discussion Panel
A panel of Harvard students will discuss their diversity of backgrounds and how they navigated high school interest to discover new ones. They will also share how they dealt with the college admissions process, what being a Harvard student means to them, and how this evolved during their time here.
11:00 A.M. Writing Workshop
One lecturer and one facilitator will take students through a one-hour curriculum that goes over the creative and technical aspects of college essays. This will include discussions of the writing-intensive parts of the Common App (personal statement, different types of supplementals, resume descriptions) and how to approach them.
12:00 P.M. Networking Lunch
1:00 P.M. Individual Review
Each student will receive a comprehensive, tailored review of their college application, high school curriculum, and further editing to their essays.
2:00 P.M. Resume Workshop & College Interview Tips
2:30 P.M. Closing Remarks
